Rachel is licensed under the Florida Department of Health for Speech Language Pathology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Rachel graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Education from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) in 2009. Then she shuffled off to the University at Buffalo to earn her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and graduated in 2011. Since returning to the sunshine state, Rachel has worked in the schools and outpatient clinic settings. She is passionate about providing personalized evaluation and treatment of cognition, voice, fluency, pragmatics, feeding/swallowing, articulation and receptive/expressive language disorders for pediatric and adult populations. She loves using crafts and snack activities at therapy. Rachel enjoys spending her free time with her husband Adam and their 3 crazy cats in sunny St. Pete!

Laci Coleman, M.S., CCC-SLP

Laci is licensed under the Florida Department of Health for
Speech language Pathology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing
Association. As a little girl, Laci knew she was called to work with children and began to fulfill this passion by receiving
her Bachelor’s degree with a minor in Child Development at Texas Christian University in 2010. Laci graduated from Texas
Woman’s University with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2012 in order to help children with the single most
important gift of life- communication with friends and family. Laci has experience working with children in a variety of settings
such as the public school system, outpatient clinic, hospital, and home-health. Laci has had the privilege of working with many
medically fragile children with varying disabilities, disorders, and severity levels (e.g., Down Syndrome, Autism, Pallister-Killian
Syndrome, Pierre Robin Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury, Locked-In Syndrome, Stroke, Failure to Thrive, Pediatric
Carcinoma, etc.) In addition to speech and language therapy, Laci also specializes in the areas of oral motor and sensory
intervention with pediatric dysphagia and feeding delays/disorders at both the individual and group therapy level.
Laci and her Husband, Chris established Heart for Kids Therapy in order to fulfill the huge need for evidence-based pediatric
therapeutic services in western, central Florida. Laci spends a lot of her free time investing in the community by participating
in various community service events and providing donations to programs benefiting children (e.g., "Autos for Autism", “Hunting for
a Cure-Cystic Fibrosis”, “March of Dimes”, “Cara Young Fish for Life Tournament”, “Toys for Tots”, “Safe Haven-Shelter for Women
and Children”, etc.). Laci loves doing any activities that have to do with the beach such as swimming, sand volleyball, surfing.
In addition, she also admits to having a somewhat unhealthy obsession with salsa dancing and traveling.

Chris has always had a passion for working with children. He led and participated in church programs targeted towards
children for approximately 6 years before entering the field of broadcast television and engineering where he gained 15 years of
experience. After establishing a highly reputable and successful video post-production company, he decided it was time to partner
up with his wife, Laci and combine their therapeutic and business skills to invest in the lives of children through Heart 4 Kids Therapy.
When Chris isn’t carrying out the daily financial and marketing needs of Heart for Kids Therapy, he enjoys snowboarding,
boating, longboarding, surfing, and wakeboarding.

Speech Therapist
Marissa graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from
Missouri State University in 2014. She then pursued her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
and graduated in 2016 from Missouri State. While finishing her Master's degree she moved to Florida to
acquire new and different clinical experiences. After spending a few months in the sunshine state she decided
it was the perfect place to call home. Marissa is licensed under the Florida Department of Health and is completing
her Clinical Fellowship Year. Upon completion, Marissa will receive her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the
American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She has experience in the schools, outpatient rehab settings,
and has a passion for pediatric populations. Marissa enjoys spending time outside and exploring her new Florida home!

Morgan is licensed under the Florida Department of Health for Speech Language Pathology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Morgan holds her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida. She has clinical experience with the pediatric population in schools and clinic settings in the areas of articulation, language, fluency, literacy, and pragmatics. When she is not working, she loves to spend time playing with her dog and exploring islands with her husband.

Christine is licensed under the Florida Department of Health for Speech Language Pathology
and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Christine holds her Bachelor’s (2010) and Master’s (2012) degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders
from the University of Central Florida. She has clinical experience working in the private practice setting, public
and private schools, home health, inpatient hospital and skilled nursing facilities. Christine enjoys working as a
pediatric speech language pathologist evaluating and treating individuals related to articulation, fluency, language
acquisition and development, language learning disorders, cognitive communication, voice, feeding/swallowing,
oral motor/sensory and acquired language disorders. When not at work, you’ll find Christine traveling or visiting
our beautiful gulf coast beaches!

Kristen graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with bachelor’s degree
in community health and master’s degree in occupational therapy.
Kristen is registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational
Therapy. She has experience working with children in the public school system,
home health, rehabilitation center, and inpatient and outpatient clinic settings.
Kristen has extensive experience with sensory processing disorders,
fine motor limitations, and executive functioning skills.
She is also trained in Interactive Metronome.
When Kristen isn't working, she loves spending time with family and friends,
being out on the water, and going to the beach! She also enjoys baking and traveling.

Nicole graduated from the University of Tampa with her bachelor's degree in psychology and
received her master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Florida. Nicole is registered
with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and is licensed under the Florida Department
of Health for Occupational Therapy. She has clinical experience working with children in acute care,inpatient,
and outpatient rehabilitation settings. Throughout her clinical experience, she has had the privilege of helping
children with sensory processing disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delay, traumatic brain injury,
stroke, spinal cord injury, prematurity and other neonatal conditions.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys boating, traveling, gardening, spending time with friends and family,
and going to sporting events (Go Gators!)

Kaitlin graduated from West Virginia University with her bachelor's degree in health and human performance,
and her master's degree in occupational therapy. Upon graduating, she and her husband decided they were
ready for a change of scenery and made the move to the sunshine state! Kaitlin is registered with
the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and is licensed under the Florida Department
of Health for Occupational Therapy. She has clinical experience working with children in the public school system,
home health, and outpatient rehabilitation setting. As a pediatric occupational therapist, Kaitlin has experience
evaluating and treating children with developmental delay, sensory processing disorders, cerebral palsy, Autism
Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and infants with various conditions, including prematurity, low tone, and
failure to thrive. In her free time, Kaitlin enjoys being outdoors or at the beach and exploring new parks and trails
with her husband and dog. She also enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends and family, and painting.

Jodi is originally from Ohio, where she received her Bachelor's degree from Kent State University in
Psychology. She earned her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in Philadelphia.
She and her husband decided to move to the Sunshine State as she began following her dream of
working as a pediatric physical therapist. Jodi has worked in several settings including outpatient, home health,
and school settings. She has experience working with children from birth to adulthood, with a large variety
of diagnoses and gross motor challenges.
In her spare time, Jodi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing games, reading, and being outdoors.
